Magnum Pulleys
The Magnum's allow you to streamline your printer setup - eliminating 2 of the shoulder bolts entirely and allow you to "stack" your smaller toothed idlers with the Magnums. The Magnum Pulleys also simplify the kinematics of the belt system for your printer. In additional to all of that, they look super awesome!

The Magnum's allow you to streamline your printer setup - eliminating 2 of the shoulder bolts entirely and allow you to "stack" your smaller toothed idlers with the Magnums. The Magnum Pulleys also simplify the kinematics of the belt system for your printer. In additional to all of that, they look super awesome!
They have been several iterations of these idlers, as well as numerous design tweaks and quite a bit of testing! We hope you enjoy them!
If you have been using the "china" idler pulleys, you likely have 20mm shoulder bolts, and should be able to continue using them. If you are upgrading to gates pulleys and/or magnum pulleys, you will need 25mm shoulder bolts.

Using the washer and shim washers with the 25mm shoulder bolts and the gates idlers:
X Carriage stacks (from top down)
- 4 - 5mm Washers
- 1 - shim washer
- Gates Idler
- 1 - shim washer
- Gates Idler
- 1 - shim washer
Idler stacks with Magnum Pulley:
- 2 - 5mm washers
- 1 - shim washer
- 1 - gates idler or big pulley
- 1 - shim washer
- 1 - gates idler or big pulley
- 2 - shim washers
- 2 - 5mm washers
This has put in me in a rather good alignment thus far.
Please Note: This is just a starting point. You may have to tweak this a little bit as washers are not all the same thickness.
