Dual Rail Gantry System - Adapters
What is a Dual Rail Gantry system? It's a simple and easy method to eliminate extrusion or hollow tubes from your gantry.
Our kit provides you with:
- 2 end pieces which consist of a base and an adjustment slider
- several 2 point spacers to stabilize and accurately separate the rails
- necessary hardware for mounting the rails to the base, slider and spacers.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The 2nd Rail is not provided with the kit and must be self sourced. Joiners are shown for display purposes only and are a separately purchased item.
Your stock rail fits on top of the adjustment slider, and then you bolt another rail underneath the base pieces.
You may select the number of spacers that you want or need from this listing. If you choose none, you will need to locate 10mm spacers that are threaded to m3x0.5.

Very happy with mine. I have a V-Core 4 500 Hybrid and started with the aluminum extrusion. After constantly fighting with my nozzle moving towards the bed during prints, I swapped to a titanium extrusion. This helped prevent bed damage, but made my nozzle move away from the bed during prints. With this dual rail kit I am finally able to print a full bed single layer with no discernible difference in layer height. You will lose a bit of Y acceleration because it is heavier (slightly longer prints is all), but the time you save being able to use your full print area and not dealing with print failures will more than make up for it!
